Aprutinum - Blend Nutraceutico is rich of nutraceutical compounds, such as hydroxytyrosol and vitamin E, which have been suggested to have the ability to protect from the oxidative stress. The cultivation of olive trees is conducted in a natural way without the use of synthetic chemical substances such as insecticides, herbicides and fertilizers. For fertilization and pest management are allowed only organic substances.

Aprutinum farm is located in Loreto Aprutino, a small town of central Italy (Abruzzo Region). It was founded in 2015 by Antonio Liberatoscioli, who decided to cultivated native olive tree (Dritta e Intosso) with the aim to obtain a nutraceutical olive oil.
The Aprutinum olive oils can be claimed as Nutraceutical oil because they are rich of antioxidant compounds, such as hydroxytyrosol and vitamin E(UE Regulation 432/2012; UE n. 1924/2006). To obtain the health properties of nutraceutical oil is necessary to consume 20 g of oil per day. Preferably, the oil should be taken raw, over meals or alone.
